Rev. Sr. Maria Chibugwum Nkwocha, the Manager of the Martyrs of Uganda Basic School(Preparatory and JHS)
is a devout Christian of the IHMS. She is very gentle but a fair and firm leader. She is also a very
affable, loving and an inspirational leader. She is a team player, who relates very well with everybody
including even her sub-ordinates. Sr. Chibugwum is a good listener who respects the openion of others.
When it comes to discipline and christian virtues she does not compromise and ensures that the right
thng is done at the right time. Anybody who gets the rare opportunity of working with her, will
definitely have a lot of good things to learn from her.
Her Achievements as the Headmistress
Under the gentle but dynamic and imspirational leadership of the Headmistress, the school has made giant strides
and progress in the following areas.

Transportation,
A fairly home used 53 seater air-conditioned bus has been purchased to augment the fleet of school buses.

A brand new Toyota
pick-up has been bought to cater for the needs and facilitate easy movement of Management

A brand new 42 inches Samsung television set has been donated by the ATWIMA KWANWOMA RURAL BANK(AKRB)
for the teachers staff room.

The construction of a modern, state-of-the-art 22 seater toilet and washroom for the KG and Lower Primary.

The construction of an extension of the canteen / Dining Hall for the Lower Primary to ease conjestion in
the main dining hall.

With a vision for student well-being, she took the initiative to establish a convenient snack shop within the school premises.
This thoughtful decision ensures students have easy access to wholesome snacks and promotes a safer and more nurturing environment
by discouraging unnecessary trips outside during school hours. It's a testament to her dedication to both their education and health.

She recognized the need for modernization and enhancing efficiency in the school operation,
in addition, She led the development and deployment of a comprehensive software solution which
has made a tremendous improvement in administrative operations, reduction in cost,
and time savings also brought about an increase in the engagement among parents,
teachers, and students. On a high note, there has been an improvement in
decision-making and evaluation of academic standards and the performance of students has
been made easier Finally there is an inproved and well resourced financial system which has led
to an improvement in transparency and accountability.
