Pre-School

MUPLS Pre-School warmly welcomes children aged 2 years and above, ranging from Nursery 1 to Reception (KG2). Our certified educators provide a secure, nurturing, and engaging setting where children can explore and flourish. Through play-based activities, we foster active learning, empowering our young learners to enhance their self-assurance and thrive in upcoming educational endeavors.

The Pre-School curriculum is thoughtfully tailored to address the specific needs of our young learners and equip them for their upcoming years in school. We guide children through literacy, numeracy, and various lessons. Through interactive lessons, children are actively engaged in classroom activities. Our educators keenly observe and adeptly address individual needs, leveraging their understanding of children's developmental and learning processes.

Our curriculum enables children to progress towards the Seven Areas of Learning:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication and Language
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Knowledge and understanding of the world
  • Physical Development
  • Expressive Art and Design

The Seven areas of learning help our teachers plan the learning environment and activities to provide the children with the opportunity to develop competencies and skills.

Throughout lessons, the children are immersed in diverse themes that facilitate their comprehension of the importance of being attuned to the world around them. This approach nurtures a global perspective in conjunction with their own national identity. The students embark on field trips to acquire more insights into a particular theme being addressed in class. Children visit places like the airport, lake, zoo, farm, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants etc.

Primary School

MUPLS Primary School spans from Year 6 to Year 11. Our primary education philosophy centers on interactive and enjoyable lessons, complemented by a well-balanced mix of dynamic, innovative, service-oriented, and diverse extra-curricular activities. This combination serves as the foundation for a comprehensive and exceptional education.

Within the Primary School, our curriculum encompasses a range of subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, Computing, French, Art, Our World Our Peaple, Creative Art, Asante Twi, History Of Ghana, and Physical Education.

Art, Computing, French, Religious Education, and Physical Education are based on the Ghana Education Service (GES) Curriculum. This curriculum promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of students at the school.

At the Primary School we believe that children learn best when they have fun. Based on this simple idea, teachers are trained to deliver lessons that invite children to participate actively, express their opinions and facts eloquently, and develop skills and understanding effectively.
